Dr. Joshua Glasner’s (he/him/his) teaching blends traditional voice pedagogy and evidence-based research to help students meet current commercial trends. He is an active voice researcher, speech-language pathologist, and vocologist who believes that communicative and artistic singing should both feel good and sound good. His students have been heard in regional Broadway productions and operatic stages in New York City and around the world.

Josh has taught singers of all levels and styles for over 15 years, and holds degrees in voice pedagogy and voice performance from New York University, Westminster Choir College and the University of Delaware as well as a clinical degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Delaware Valley University. He also holds a Certificate in Vocology from the National Center for Voice and Speech. He is currently a Clinical Fellow in Voice and Upper Airway Speech-Language Pathology at the University of Minnesota’s Lions Voice Clinic, and previously taught speech-language pathology, voice pedagogy, and voice performance at the university-level.
